|Beyond Blogging/A Limeade Gal Series|
I would like to introduce you to Erin Vincent, of Nourishing My Scholar. I had the pleasure of interviewing Erin, who blogs about unschooling and her two children.
Keep reading, to learn more about Erin, beyond her blog.
I hope you enjoy learning more about Erin, in this exclusive interview:
LG: Erin, tell us a little more about your blog, and how you got started blogging.
Erin: I started this blog for a couple of reasons. First our homeschool journey started out very lonely. I didn't know many homeschoolers. Once I found my "tribe", I realized that others probably feel the same as I did. Like they are the only ones. And that isn't the case!
Homeschooling and Unschooling is a growing community! We transitioned into Unschooling over the past year, because none of the curriculums were working for our son. He always learned, and retained more information, if we followed his lead, and let him decide what he wanted to learn.
LG: Describe yourself in five words.
Erin: Always going with the flow.
LG: What are your hobbies, interests?
Erin: I love reading, painting, and knitting.
LG: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Erin: New Zealand. It's so beautiful!
|South Island, New Zealand|
LG: What is your favorite food?
Erin: If I could eat it, my favorite food was Spaghetti. But I have a tomato allergy so my second favorite is Thai Red Curry.

LG: Which do you prefer, listening to music or watching TV? What are your favorite TV shows, music?
Erin: I would rather read, but if that isn't an option, I'd rather watch TV. I love most anything on Nat Geo.
LG: Who inspires you and why?
Erin: My deceased grandmother. She left a legacy of love, that I aspire to.
LG: Share with us, your favorite color, movie, book, beverage, flower, and any other favorite you want to add!
- The Hobbit (book and movies)
- The Lord of the Rings (books and movies)
- Harry Potter (books and movies)
- Jane Eyre (books and movies)
LG: What is your favorite quote or poem?
Erin: The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost
