Teri Burgers

Teri Burgers, an Island Favorite!  Today, I'm sharing with you my recipe for my all time favorite way to make burgers.
Teri Burgers

Normally, I would make these on the grill.  Since it is 20℉, I opted to cook them on the stove top.  Another option, would be to broil them.

I used a press to make my burgers, you can form them by hand if you prefer.

Here is the recipe:

Teri Burgers

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
3 T. Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp. Oil
1/8 tsp. Black Pepper
3 tsp. Sugar
1/4 tsp. Ginger (ground)
2 T. Milk
1 Egg, beaten

1/2 Cup crushed Saltine Crackers(topped with sea salt) about 7 crackers

Serves 4

Combine Soy Sauce, oil, black pepper, sugar, and ginger in small bowl.  Add milk and beaten egg, stir well.  Set aside.

In a larger bowl, add crushed saltine crackers to ground beef.

Now add Soy Sauce mixture to the ground beef.  Mix well.  Form 4 burger patties.

Cook to desired doneness.  Serve on Onion Buns with Mayonnaise, Shredded Lettuce, and Cheese.  (I melted one slice of cheese on the burgers, and added another slice to the bottom bun at assembly.

Have you ever had a Teri Burger?  What is your favorite burger and/or toppings?  Would love to hear from you!

Until next time...
   Enjoy Life!

    1. Hi Mel! The ginger is not very noticeable, in my opinion, it's more of a flavor enhancer than anything. Hope you enjoy trying these!
