DIY Framed Print for the "Man Cave"

Valentine's Day is just a few days away, I'm excited for it to arrive this year!  I wanted to do something special for my husband, without spending a lot of money.

This printable was so easy to make in Word.  You can also use Pic Monkey or one of the other editing programs.

All you need to do is create a watermark of the photograph of your choosing, on the page.    Some great choices would be their fishing boat, a photo of your man with his buddies, the 8 pt he was so proud to get with his bow, or whatever else may be his interest.  (& for any guys reading, I'm sure you can figure this part out on your own!).  I used a photo of my husband's truck (his boy toy!).

Once you have the photo watermarked on the page, type your Rules of the Man Cave list, with a font that matches his style.  (I kept the font clean and simple; since hubby is a t-shirt and jeans kind of guy).  I centered everything on the page to make it appealing to the eye.

You can change the list to tailor it to your man's personality or you are more than welcome to use my wording.  Again, any guys reading, can come up with a great list I'm sure!  I actually would love to hear yours, feel free to share in the comments!  (Remember I moderate, so keep it clean!)

Once you have everything the way you want, print!  Place in a frame of your choosing.  I got a frame for $3.00 at the craft store.

Until next time...

  1. Okay, now this is adorable! My hubby doesn't have a man cave, although I'm sure he wouldn't mind one.

    1. Thank you Kim! I put that on there because my hubby says that phrase a lot. He loves children, but not a fan of them being in his man cave!
