When Life Takes A U~Turn

U~Turn

When life takes a u~turn, it is certain to create a mixture of emotions!

So far, 2015 has been a whirlwind for me!  How is your 2015 going?  Would love to hear from you.

When 2014 was coming to an end, I was planning my 2015.  I was a single mom, just recently separated, returning to corporate America.  I had left behind a home, 80 % of my fur babies, my outdoor oasis, and a country lifestyle.  Which you can read more about in my previous post How To Adjust To City Life .  I had intentions of making the new year awesome, creating a blog based around my lifestyle as a single working mom to a teen.

I still intend to make this an awesome year!  However, I will be taking a totally different path since my original intentions.

I have returned to my home with my husband.  We are both blessed to have a second chance at our marriage, and intend to work through our indifferences to make our marriage the best it can be.  That being said, I will be reorganizing my thoughts for the future of Limeade Gal Blog!  More details to follow when I get it all figured out.

Have you ever experienced your life taking a u~turn or making a complete 360?  How did you deal with the changes presented to you?  Would love to hear from you!
I am embracing the blessing of what is in my life...  I leave you today with this beautiful quote, some food for thought...

Until next time...

Enjoy Life!

  1. I just bought a t-shirt that says, "Die Laughing." It's kind of morbid but makes a great point. That's my goal for 2015 - to laugh more and concentrate on all my blessings.

  17. I know all about life taking a 360 degree turn. Without going into details, I can say this. We cannot control our circumstances. It's how we deal with them, knowing there is light above the dark clouds, the lessons in life that are learned, and the strength and wisdom we garner from these experiences. I'm living more passionately than ever before because of it. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Best wishes to you and yours.

  22. I had a word/phrase for the year. And that was "joyfully adaptable". Meaning whatever, good or bad that God puts in my path I will and it on with joy. And "roll with the punches" so to speak.

  27. Jane this is wonderful! I wish you all the best. Years ago my husband and I had packed up our apartment, quit our jobs and were ready to move to a new phase in life. Just before we unplugged out phone he got a call and an amazing offer in the city we were leaving and loved so much. He accepted and we scrambled, I had to get my job back and we needed a place to live. Looking back it was the best decision we ever made.
