10 Tips for a Stress Free Morning

Ten Tips for a Stress Free Morning

Everything is finally starting to fall into place...

I'm getting used to city life, really love my new job, and starting to have somewhat of a normal routine.  Mornings are a little chaotic, which I'm sure most of us find is the case.  I have found that if I stick to a routine, get the proper amount of sleep, and keep a positive outlook; a stress free morning does exist!

I'm sharing 10 tips to help you with your mornings...

  1. Stock your freezer with pop in the microwave breakfasts.
  2. Pack your lunch the night before.
  3. Pick out your outfit (iron if needed) the night before.
  4. Check the weather forecast the night before (This will prepare you for inclement weather and making the right clothing choices).
  5. Set your coffee pot the night before.
  6. Check your purse (wallet for the guys) for cash & loose change (for vending machines & parking).
  7. Keep an emergency kit in your vehicle or desk drawer:          Stocked with some Aspirin (or non) or Ibuprofen, feminine products, nail file, cuticle trimmer, lint-roller, spare earrings, sewing kit, stain remover pen, safety pin, nylons, dental floss, adhesive bandages and hand sanitizer.
   8.  Organize a cosmetic/toiletries station on your bathroom                  counter.
   9.  Listen to or read the traffic report, before heading out  the door.
 10.  Go out 10 minutes before you leave to warm up your                 vehicle (if needed).

If you are a guy reading this... Please disregard the feminine
products, may I suggest deodorant in it's place?!

Can you think of anything else to add to the list?  How do you do mornings?  Would love to hear from you!

Wishing you happy, beautiful, stress free mornings!

  18. This is perfect! I do most of these! Especially for my little one! I always buy snacks for her that do not need to be refrigerated so I can pack them the night before and won't have to worry about them in the morning. I also check the weather before going to sleep on my little weather app and get all of our clothes ready for the next day before going to sleep!
